Standards

Prohibited Uses

We use neutral, factual language. We refuse requests that fall outside these standards.

To keep our service lawful, safe, and professional, we do not prepare or deliver letters that involve any of the following. We may refuse, pause, or refer matters for manual review at any time.

  • Threats of violence or physical harm
  • Blackmail or extortion
  • Threats to expose private information
  • Demands based on knowingly false claims
  • Harassment or repeated unwanted communications
  • Criminal accusations presented as established facts
  • Discriminatory or hateful content
  • Impersonation of an attorney, court, government agency, or law-enforcement officer
  • Debt collection that may be subject to special licensing or consumer-protection laws
  • Time-sensitive matters where a legal deadline may expire (please consult an attorney)

Our language standard

We replace aggressive phrasing such as "correct this wrong or face a lawsuit" with professional wording such as: "Please resolve this matter by the stated deadline. If it remains unresolved, the sender may consider available remedies, including consulting an attorney or pursuing an appropriate legal process."
